Golf has experienced incremental growth over the past few years, with the popularity of the PGA, LIV, and TGL. During the summer months, scotch is a reward and a part of the 19th hole golf experience for casual golfers. Demographically the consumer of Glenmorangie matches well with the audience that participates and watches golf on TV. This display targeted consumers 45 yrs and above who enjoy a round of golf as part of their social life. Secondary placement off shelf is difficult in the single malt scotch category, therefore a clever, attractive, unique display was needed to win this valuable floor space. This custom designed golf bag display was made from a combination of wood and vacuum form plastics to capture the look and feel of a custom golf bag. This display was designed to hold 3 cases of product, as well as provide an interchangeable header to promote the golf experiences throughout the country. The display came fully assembled and could easily be placed anywhere within the store to grab consumer attention. With over 300 units produced, sales increased by 56%, and achieved 100% placement at retail. The dominate orange color of the golf bag, and the gift packaging made for a truly attractive display at retail and was remarkably successful for Glenmorangie.
