Gran Coramino is an elite tequila recognized in the spirits industry as one of the best. When consumers buy the best, they want a bottle that is attractive, unique, and attention getting. The objective for this display program was to replicate a merchandising display that emulated the look and feel of the Gran Coramino bottle. This display needed to hold a minimum of 3 cases and serve as a focal point for retailers to draw the consumers’ attention to the super-premium tequila category. These types of tequilas cost over $50 to over $1,000 per bottle. This display stands 6 feet tall so replicating the bottle with its unique curves and twists was by far the biggest challenge. Multiple injection tools were designed and developed after a complex 3D printed model was made. The attention to detail, expert engineering, and design combined helped create this one of a kind 6 ft replica bottle. Placed in 542 stores, this one-of-a-kind display had an astonishing 220% lift and more importantly got premium placement off shelf in the fast paced and growing ultra-premium tequila category. Gran Coramino has attained 20% market share and is considered one of the leading brands in the ultra-premium category. Reruns of this effective display have already been developed.
