Description
The goal of this display program was to drive awareness and sales of the M&Ms brand in conjunction with advertising the Amazon Red One Movie.Mars utilized a custom display process to drive efficient turnaround on a tight timeline for successful execution. The event was targeted to grocery store candy consumers that shopped at Kroger locations. The design work involved creating a uniquely sturdy structure. Vibrant litho printed graphics with Santa-clad M&M's characters and recognizable actors from the movie were depicted on the side panels and the header card. A QR code was also made available for shoppers to scan and read seasonal recipes. Sales results were strong - the display drove incremental sales of seasonal product and sell-through hit 85%. Both Mars and Kroger exceeded their Holiday goals. The promotion was executed in over 650 Kroger locations and the display palletized very efficiently, resulting in a 92% cubic efficiency rate which kept transportation costs in line. Set up was also easy - Kroger only had to remove a cover, place the header and remove shipping fillers for in-store floor placement.
