- The assignment was to create a temporary, small footprint floor stand activation for placement in convenience store environments to merchandise single serve 20 oz. bottles of Mountain Dew Baja Blast while communicating/celebrating the product’s 20th anniversary (Bajaversary)!
- Budget and a required 2-month lifespan at retail dictated the use of temporary substrates for the display structure.
- A dramatic display profile that utilizes wave imagery echoes the bottle label graphics, while the yellow “weathered wood” themed shelf fronts and other aqua toned components reinforced the brands lime flavor and tropical island vibe. A lugged header element is prominently positioned to trumpet the brand’s 20thBahaversary.

- Sales exceeded all expectations. By offering Baja Blast in retail stores nationwide, Mountain Dew expanded its reach to a broader audience, potentially introducing the flavor to new consumers who might not had previous access to it. This expansion strategy aimed to drive both short-term sales and long-term brand loyalty by meeting the demands of existing fans while captivating new consumers with the unique and sought-after flavor of Baja Blast.
