Objectives
The client, through their agency, aimed to elevate the Gillette Razor above the crowded marketplace. The primary objective was to design a captivating display that not only drew
shopper attention but also clearly communicated the message: “This is the one you need.” A significant challenge was to innovate beyond the conventional corrugated plastic
display aesthetics, specifically avoiding the typical visible assembly elements common in retail environments, and to create a premium display where “the totem made from
corrugated plastic did not look like it was made from corrugated plastic.
How were the objectives met?
The objectives were met by adopting a unique design approach that utilized high-quality corrugated PP plastic, combined with superior printing techniques to achieve a finish that
transcended the typical corrugated appearance. The slim yet robust structure was internally supported by a wooden frame, ingeniously concealed to preserve the visual elegance.
The realistic 3D depiction of the Gillette Razor served as the central feature, ensuring the product was the main attraction and effectively capturing shopper interest in pharmacies.
